摘要

The present invention is intended to provide a process for solving problems related to the elimination of emulsified water from the crude, heavy and extraheavy oil. The invention shows a detailed analysis of the crude oil dehydration process at high pressure, which is characterised in that the improvements thereof comprise the re-dissolution of the gas or that of the gas and condensate in the oil for reducing the density of the oil down to 880% and the oil viscosity down to 630%, also increasing the settling speed of the water droplets in a 1100% compared to the traditional process. The aforementioned improvements cause the reduction in size of the dehydration equipments down to 86% and reduction in thermal requirements (heating) down to 96%. The investment costs as well as those regarding the process operation are also reduced. The application of the present process is performed in those facilities where crude oil is to be dehydrated and stabilised.
