PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency treatment tool for a damaged heat transfer pipe and an emergency treatment method for a damaged heat transfer pipe in which the emergency treatment for a damaged heat transfer pipe can be carried out in a short boiler stopping period and by a simple treatment.SOLUTION: This invention comprises: an outer plug 11 including a top wall 11A having a through-pass hole 11Aa, a circumferential wall 11B suspended from the top wall 11A, and a recess part 11C defined by a tapered inner circumferential surface 11Ba reduced as it approaches the top wall 11A; a rope-like member 12 inserted into and passing through the through-pass hole 11Aa; an inner plug 13 having an upper surface 13A to which the rope-like member 12 is connected and including a tapered outer circumferential surface 13C reduced as it approaches the upper surface 13A; and a tubular member 14 fixed to the upper surface of the top wall 11A of the outer plug 11 and having an opening 14A at a circumferential wall thereof. A circumferential wall 11Bb of the outer plug 11 is brought into press contact with the inner circumferential surface of a heat transfer pipe 6Ba by drawing the rope-like member 12 and press-fitting the tapered outer circumferential surface 13C of the inner plug 13 into the tapered recess part 11C of the outer plug 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
