PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PBC (Primary Bilious Cirrhosis) onset risk predicting marker, probe, primer and kit capable of predicting PBC onset risk very simply, inexpensively and accurately.SOLUTION: The PBC onset risk predicting marker is comprised of an oligonucleotide or polynucleotide which is present on human genome and comprises at least one single nucleotide polymorphism selected from the group consisting of single nucleotide polymorphisms specific to TNFSF15 and POU2AF1 and those in linkage disequilibrium thereto. The PBC onset risk predicting probe or primer is comprised of an oligonucleotide or polynucleotide hybridizing therewith or a label conjugate thereof. The PBC onset risk predicting kit comprises these materials.
