Conventional methods in this field identify and screen compounds in laboratories that provide cells and animals, and then move on to clinical trials with candidate compounds. Complicating the problem with these methods is that the active compound may not be present in the original herb and a large number of compounds are associated with the results, resulting in long-term research and high costs. . The present invention has solved the following problems: 1) Candidate compounds are identified from test patients showing favorable and safe results. 2) One or more compounds can be identified. 3) Safe and effective compounds may be metabolites or may not be present in herbs. The method of the present invention utilizes a website to gather clinical information. Candidate compounds can be determined by analyzing a common composition from patients. Data for potential therapeutic compounds can be obtained directly from humans. These findings contribute to time and cost savings in pharmaceutical research and development.
