In case of a nonlinear ultrasonic fatigue crack detection, a method of the present invention comprises: a step of vibrating an ultrasonic wave of a preset frequency to an object structure; a step of measuring an ultrasonic response generated in the object structure by corresponding to the vibrated ultrasonic wave; a step of calculating a linear coefficient and a nonlinear coefficient based on high frequencies which corresponds to the vibration frequency from among the measured ultrasonic responses; a step of detecting a standard linear coefficient, which has a nearest value to the calculated linear coefficient, from among a plurality of pre-saved standard linear coefficients; a step of comparing the standard nonlinear coefficient, which is pre-saved by being matched with the detected standard linear coefficient, and the calculated nonlinear coefficient; and a step of detecting if there is damage to the object structure based on the result of the comparison. The plurality of standard linear coefficients and the standard nonlinear coefficient are calculated based on an ultrasonic response measured by changing a value of a preset environmental condition in a normal status of the object structure. The present invention aims to provide a nonlinear ultrasonic fatigue crack detection apparatus and the method thereof, capable of minimizing misinformation due to nonlinear and external environmental factors of a systems own.
