The present invention relates to an anti-diabetic composition comprising an ethanol extract of a tuna heart as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the ethanol extract of a tuna heart has activity of inhibiting PTP1B, -glucosidase and human recombinant aldose reductase, thereby being used for preventing or treating diabetes or diabetic complications. Also, the ethanol extract of a tuna heart is stable in the body, thereby being used as a functional health food material.
