The present invention relates to a non-toxic hypergolic bipropellant comprising: hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizer; a metal hydride as a fuel; and an organic solvent. The hypergolic bipropellant of the present invention increases handling properties of a propellant by removing toxicity of the propellant, unlike an existing virulent hypergolic bipropellant and can show comparable performance to the existing propellant.
