The present invention relates to a geological survey system which locates a researcher and tracks a moving path to prevent the researcher from being fallen behind or lost during a geological exploration. According to the present invention, it is possible to solve various problems related to the prior art such as the inconvenience in carrying both a topographic map and a geological map for an area to be explored, the inconvenience of generating the geological map by displaying an explored result on the map after the geological exploration, the difficulty in coping with casualties when the researcher is fallen behind or lost when the position and the moving path of the researcher are not known during the geological exploration, etc. A current position of the researcher is acknowledged by using a global positioning system (GPS) function and a communication function of a personal portable terminal such as a smartphone while performing the geological exploration. Information on the current position of the researcher is transmitted to a central server or a management center periodically, frequently, or when exploration information is transmitted. There is provided a geological survey system capable of locating a researcher and tracking a moving path which is configured to guarantee safety of the researcher by obtaining the current position and the moving path of the researcher even when the researcher explores a mountain or a remote area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
