This ultrasound diagnostic system is provided with: a display unit for displaying at least a portion of an ultrasound image generated on the basis of an ultrasound signal received from an ultrasonic transducer for transmitting ultrasound to an object to be observed and receiving ultrasound reflected by the object to be observed; an input device for accepting an input of a position on the display unit and outputting a position signal; a position detection unit for detecting the position from the position signal; an area determination unit for determining whether or not the position detected by the position detection unit is within a first area including an area that is the portion of the ultrasound image displayed on the display unit and that corresponds to the ultrasonic transducer; and an image scroll unit for scrolling an area of the ultrasound image displayed on the display unit in response to movement of the position detected by the position detection unit, when the position is determined to be within the first area by the area determination unit. Thereby, an ultrasound diagnostic system that can start scrolling without the effort of performing an input operation is provided.
