The present invention relates to a new method of non-invasive prenatal diagnosis implemented from a maternal blood sample. The method allows prenatal diagnosis on fetal, epithelial, non-apoptotic cells isolated from maternal blood after their enrichment by filtration, morphological or immunological analysis and genetic. The advantages of this method are in particular its safety for the mother or the fetus and the very high sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis. It allows the early detection of a genetic or chromosomal abnormality of the fetus, a genetic or infectious pathology (viral, bacterial or parasitic) of the fetus, a precise genotype, and in particular the genetic sex of the fetus.
