The present invention relates to a heat pipe for transferring heat using natural and forced convention techniques. Two micro heat pipes are fabricated using a copper tube for working with dry run (without any fluid) and wet run (with fluid). Plurality of working fluids is used to measure the performance of heat pipe. The temperature distribution across the heat pipe is measured and recorded using plurality of thermocouples. Heat transfer coefficients are measured experimentally by varying the heat input at different stages by increasing the volts. Pluralities of measuring instruments are used to measure the current, potential difference etc.
