The egg of Bombyx mori L., which is precious and delicate experimental material but its preservation and transportation, was one of the most crucial problems faced by the sericulture industry since inception. Silkworm eggs produced in the grainages are being transported to various places by road, train as well as by air. Commonly it has been observed that during transportation the eggs are generally exposed to fluctuating temperature and humidity conditions resulting improper hatching and poor performance of rearing lastly discouraging yield of the crop. In order to over come this problem a simple device has been invented, which would allow the preservation and transportation of experimental as well as basic seed in a refrigerated condition upto 24 hours. This invention is affordable and easy to transport.
