PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grained artificial leather comprising a surface protective membrane for imparting stain resistance property which is superior in delustering feeling and optical transparency and which can maintain a high adhesive strength.SOLUTION: A grained artificial leather comprises a nonwoven substrate containing an ultrafine fiber interlaced body, a grained layer laminated on the nonwoven substrate, and a surface protective membrane laminated on the grained layer. The surface protective membrane is a membrane having 5 to 20 μm thickness containing saponified material of ethylene-acetate vinyl copolymer (EVOH copolymer) as a main composition. The surface of the grained layer has a matt surface having 5 to 60% in glossiness according to JIS Z 8741.
