PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for effectively inhibiting elution of alkali metal from the surface of a glass container or a glass plate, and to provide a glass container or a glass plate inhibited from elution of alkali metal obtained by the treatment method.;SOLUTION: A treatment method of an inside surface of a glass container, according to the present invention, includes steps of: making the inside surface and the outside surface of the glass container contact with a molten liquid containing at least one kind of ammonium salt heated to not lower than 200°C; and applying a direct current voltage between the inside surface of the glass container as the positive electrode side and the outside surface of the glass container as the negative electrode side, while the molten solution on the inside surface side is not made to contact with the molten solution on the outside surface side, to transfer alkali metal in the vicinity of the inside surface of the glass container to the outside surface side of the glass container, thereby inhibiting elution of the alkali metal from the inside surface of the glass container.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
