PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten labor of a calibration work in measuring a large number of samples in a MALDI-TOFMS, and improve throughput of analysis.SOLUTION: Measurement to standard samples prepared in all calibrant wells on a sample plate is executed, errors between measured mass and theoretical mass of a plurality of calibrants are calculated by using each measurement result, and a calibration file i created in advance (S1 to S6). In such occasion, a user checks or determines peaks on a mass spectrum derived from calibrants. After that, measurement to target samples prepared in sample wells on the sample plate is sequentially executed, and mass calibration is performed by using a calibration file for a standard sample at a position closest to the target samples on the plate (S7 to S12). Because the series of work and process are automatically carried out, work or determination by the user is not necessary.
