PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a system model the abnormality detection capability of which is high, even when abnormality is included in information about a monitored system that is obtained in a learning period.SOLUTION: A system model generation assist device comprises: periodic model generation means for generating the model of a system including a plurality of parameters for each period from time-series information outputted from the system over a plurality of periods; removal candidate period specification means for specifying a period, as a removal candidate period, the parameter values of which satisfy a prescribed peculiarity condition as compared with other periods; and removal period selection means for selecting, from a plurality of specified removal candidate periods, a period for which a model of the system is to be created without using information outputted for the period, and outputting information that specifies the selected period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
