PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Zoysia planting method using a double net construction method with which planting is easy for farmers even on a steeply inclined slope face of a levee, to quickly convert a levee to a lawned levee.SOLUTION: The Zoysia planting method includes the following steps. 1. Herbicidal treatment is carried out with chemicals on the top flat surface and the low rice field side slope face of a levee. 2. The bed soil is raised by laying and leveling a 5 cm thickness of decomposed granite soil on the top flat surface excluding a high rice field side levee coating range, and the low rice field side slope face. 3. The end of a roll in which loosened turf is sandwiched in a belt like double net is temporarily fastened at the high rice field side top flat surface, the roll is rolled down along the slope face, spreading open the net. Once the bottom end has been unrolled, the ends of the net are released. This work is repeated and the nets are spread over the whole slope face. 4. Without a time gap after the nets have been spread, a 2 cm thickness of the same decomposed granite soil as the bed soil is spread over the net as topdressing soil and pressed down. 5.
