PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent image printed matter in which an animation effect is obtained in any angles and such an animation effect is developed that a basic image appearing under specular reflection light continuously and smoothly moves without interruption, and a method and a program for producing the printed matter.SOLUTION: The latent image printed matter includes: a semi-cylindrical image line group disposed on at least a part of a substrate, the group comprising a plurality of semi-cylindrical image lines which are curved lines in similar figures or non-similar figures and have at least one characteristic of a light/dark flip-flop property and a color flip-flop property; and a latent image line group disposed on the semi-cylindrical image line group. The latent image line group comprises a plurality of latent image line sets arranged to form pairs with the above semi-cylindrical image lines. The latent image line set includes: a first latent image line formed by dividing a first basic image and compressing a division image at a predetermined compression rate; and a second latent image line formed by dividing a second basic image, compressing a division image at a predetermined compression rate, and subjecting the image to mirror-inversion, in which the first latent image line and the second latent image line are arranged close to or adjoining to each other. At least a part of the latent image line set overlaps at least a part of the semi-cylindrical image line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
