It is a process for the low-temperature separation of air with the use of an air separation plant (100) with a distillation columns system (9, 12), the one on a first pressure level operated first high-pressure column (10) and a on a second pressure level operated second high-pressure column (11) as well as a on a third pressure level operated low-pressure column (9) and a on a fourth pressure level operated mixing column (7) has a.
