FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: presence of territorially contiguous massif of ophiolite complexes and Cainozoic depression structure. Serpentinisation is determined in ophiolite complex. If content of serpentinite is from 90 to 100 wt %, weathering crust is detected and vertical profile is built. Zone of carnonatised serpentinites is selected in vertical profile, mineral composition of carbonate component is analysed. If content of highly magnesial carbonates is from 5 wt %, conclusion about perspectivity of Cainozoic depression structure in terms of hemoclasterogenic magnesites is made. After that, testing and analysis of terrigenous-carbonate deposits of lake-river facies are carried out in it. Content of basite minor elements Ni, Co, Cr in samples higher than background ones results in conclusion about magnesite-bearing in near-surface parts of Cainozoic depression structure.;EFFECT: prediction and search for hemoclasterogenic magnesites in Cainozoic depression structures.
