Disclosed in the present invention is a railway signal system linked with a station monitoring unit. The railway signal system includes: a railway switcher; a signal unit; a database unit in which data on the railway switcher and the signal unit and contact data of a person in charge are stored; a data analysis unit which refers to the database unit, analyzes the data received from the railway switcher and the signal unit, and sends a message to the person in charge if a safety examination is necessary; an onboard control device which is installed on a train, transmits the speed data of the train to an electronic link device, displays the signal data and the railway switching data, and runs or stops the train; a station monitoring unit which monitors a station including a platform and issues a warning in case of an emergency; and the electronic link device which receives the states of the railway switcher and the signal unit, provides the states for the data analysis unit, controls the railway switcher and the signal unit, controls the onboard control device to stop the train if the speed of the train exceeds a threshold speed which indicates a danger in response to the signal of the signal unit, receives the state data of the station from the station monitoring unit, and controls the onboard control device to stop the train in case of an emergency.
