A method for forming an anode for a thin film battery includes the steps of: depositing a cathode active material on a substrate; And crystallizing the cathode active material by irradiating a laser beam onto the cathode active material. The cathode active material can be deposited on the substrate at room temperature, and the polymer substrate that is light and easy to process can be used by crystallizing the cathode active material at a low temperature using a laser. The thin film battery including the anode manufactured by the anode manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention has excellent charge and discharge characteristics such as a high discharge capacity.
