SET-TOP BOX, PHOTOGRAPHING APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING CONTEXT-AWARENESS SERVICES ON THE BASIS OF MULTI-MODAL INFORMATION TO THEREBY LEARN AND ENHANCE USER INTERFACE AND USER EXPERIENCE AND METHOD AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM USING THE SAME
According to one aspect, in a set-top box to learn and improve a user interface and a user experience itself by performing a context-awareness function based on multi-modal information, provided is the set-top box comprising: a broadcasting signal processing unit to receive and process a broadcasting signal and to provide the broadcasting signal to a basic terminal; an embedded sensor; a communication unit to communicate with an external IoT terminal; and a processor, if at least one sensing data is obtained through the embedded sensor or the external IoT terminal, to obtain specific situation information data for showing a state of at least a part among a person, an object, and an environment within an interior space including the set-top box as a result which analyzes the at least one sensing data (i) and to perform or support to perform an action item of the basic terminal or an action item of the external IoT terminal corresponding to the specific situation information data by referencing a database which records information regarding the action item of the basic terminal or the action item of the external IoT terminal mapped by types of the situation information data (ii). The set-top box according to one aspect of the present invention provides the user experience capable of performing interaction with a user like a pet by processing the multi-modal information, recognizing a situation, and smartly operating all kinds of devices at home.
