The present invention relates to an automatic apparatus for cutting salted napa cabbage or whole cabbage kimchi and removing a napa cabbage root that is configured to be capable of cutting salted napa cabbage or whole cabbage kimchi in a bite size and removing a napa cabbage root, which is rarely eaten, with ease. The present invention includes: a frame through which a conveyor passes, the conveyor being configured to stop transporting when a napa cabbage root removal position is reached; a position fixing unit disposed to be capable of rising and falling in the vertical direction of the frame, pressing the salted napa cabbage or whole cabbage kimchi when the salted napa cabbage or whole cabbage kimchi reaches the napa cabbage root removal position and the transporting is stopped, and provided with multiple slits for cutting of the salted napa cabbage or whole cabbage kimchi and a napa cabbage root removing blade access groove for napa cabbage root removal; a cutter unit placed above the position fixing unit, disposed to be capable of rising and falling in the vertical direction of the frame, provided with multiple cutting blades on a flat lower surface for cutting of the salted napa cabbage or whole cabbage kimchi through the slit of the position fixing unit, and provided with a penetrating napa cabbage root removing blade passage hole at a position corresponding to the napa cabbage root removing blade access groove; and a napa cabbage root removing unit placed above the cutter unit, disposed to be capable of rising and falling in the vertical direction of the frame, and provided with a plate body having a napa cabbage root removing blade advance and retreat hole and a napa cabbage root removing blade disposed on an upper surface of the plate body to be adjacent to the napa cabbage root removing blade advance and retreat hole and rising and falling through the napa cabbage root removing blade advance and retreat hole, the napa cabbage root removing blade passage hole, and the napa cabbage root removing blade access groove depending on a direction that fluid power acts.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
