The root-knot nematode resistance gene locus can be specified by, for example, solcap_snp_sl_21346, solcap_snp_sl_21364, TK43, YU06, YK66, TY38, AR02, HT12, solcap_snp_sl_64250, solcap_snp_sl_21383, solcap_snp_sl_21385 and solcap_snp_sl_21390. By crossing the root-knot nematode-resistant tomato plant of the present invention with another tomato plant, a later tomato plant variety with root-knot nematode resistance can be obtained.
