PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target molecule inducing cell death by binding of amylospheroid, a target molecule of amylospheroid expressed in mature neurons in one or more embodiments, and to provide a method and substance which inhibit mature neuron death induced by amylospheroid in one or more embodiments.SOLUTION: In one aspect, the invention relates to a use of Na/K-ATPase3 as a binding target molecule of amylospheroid. In other aspects, the invention relates to a method for inhibiting mature neuron death induced by amylospheroid, such as a method which comprises inhibiting protein interaction between amylospheroid and Na/K-ATPase3.
