Disclosed is a terminal and method for learning mathematics using the mathematics concept of units of which mutual connections are defined. The terminal comprises: a unit mathematics concept database in which unit mathematics concepts generated through a previous classification by unit concept are stored, and connections between the stored unit mathematics concepts are previously stored; a touch screen module for displaying the stored unit mathematics concept by inputting a user′s touch command; and a control module for displaying the unit mathematics concept in the touch screen module according to the touch command of the user inputted through the touch screen module, and controlling another unit mathematics concept of which connections with the displayed unit mathematics concept are defined, to be displayed in the touch screen module in accordance with the touch command of the user, wherein the connections are defined between a superordinate unit mathematics concept derived based on the determined unit mathematics concept and a subordinate unit mathematics concept including a basic concept for understanding the predetermined unit mathematics concept, and are defined between a unit mathematics concept of a curriculum after the predetermined unit mathematics concept and a unit mathematics concept of the curriculum before the predetermined unit mathematics concept over the curriculum.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
