According to embodiments of the present invention, a method of generating a correlation function used to track code delay phase values for local codes that are to be correlated with binary offset carrier (BOC) modulated received signals N pulses of which are continuous within one period of a spreading code chip in a spread-spectrum signal receiver system comprises the following steps: generating a pair of the local signals, g_1(t+τ;a) and g_2(t+τ;a) with a code delay phase value τ based on a pair of first and second local signals, g_1(t;a) and g_2(t;a) that are defined by the first and last pulses in a pulse train of the received signals received for one sub-carrier period of the received signals and a given main-peak shape parameter a; generating a pair of sub-correlation functions, R_1(τ;a) and R_2(τ;a) by conducting a correlation operation with the pairs of the received signals and local signals for the total time T (0=t=T); and generating a main correlation function R_proposed(τ;a) which has only a main peak, by conducting an elimination operation with the pair of sub-correlation functions, R_1(τ;a) and R_2(τ;a).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
