Provided are a terrain management method for performing a hydrologic model and a hydraulic model and a system for the same, which integrates and manages terrain data in order to analyze a hydrologic model and a hydraulic model of a river in connection with each other, and can generate model input data requested in the hydrologic model and the hydraulic model automatically, and enables a user to correct and use the necessary terrain data of the terrain data inquired from a reference database through an editing function of the terrain data for performing the hydrologic model and the hydraulic model, and also can perform terrain data storage, correction and raw data conversion for managing the reference database from a manager. According to the terrain management method for performing the hydrologic model and the hydraulic model and the system for the same, reliability of analysis result can be improved by minimizing an analysis error which can occur according to an analyzer, by providing consistent data through the reference database for river analysis, and analysis time can be drastically shortened. Also, the method can support river operation decision making through prediction as to the condition and future of the river, by integrally managing the terrain data of the river.
