An infrared dynamic video recording device and an infrared dynamic video recording method of the present invention relate to a thermal imaging device and the application field of thermal image shooting. Since the thermal image detection technology is applied, there is no suitable means to conveniently and quickly associate a dynamically recorded thermal image data frame with information about a shot object. Provided are an infrared dynamic video recording device and an infrared dynamic video recording method. The method comprises: based on information about a plurality of shot objects which is stored in a storage medium, designating information about the shot object; when an infrared data frame is continuously recorded, if the information about the shot object has been designated, associating and recording the designated information about the shot object and the continuously recorded infrared data frame ; and in response to a switching indication, making a selection about the switching of information about the shot object according to a ranking sequence of the information about the shot object. If a user presses a switch key to send same, there is no need to search for and select the information about the shot object, and the operation is simple. Obviously, the shooting speed is increased, it is not easy to miss, and the problem existing at present is solved.
