PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device, in a vacuum refining method where the upper part of a ladle is sealed with a vacuum cover, and a gas is blown into a molten steel, applicable to the existing ladle having a small free board.;SOLUTION: A vacuum cover comprises: a suction tube 4 part; a vacuum flange 7 part for air tightness; and a lower edge part 9 tube inserted to the direct face of a molten steel 2 into the inner wall of a ladle 3. An annular space 10 is formed by the outer circumferential face of the lower edge part tube 9, the lower face of the flange 7, the inner wall of the ladle 3 and the surface of the molten steel 2. By gas blowing in a vacuum, the upper face of the molten steel 2 elevates while being foamed, but, it is elevated only at the inside of the suction tube 4, and is not elevated at the annular space 10 part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
