PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a withstanding voltage performance probe for a lead wire, including a cut mechanism capable of uniformly securing electric connection with a plurality of lead wires.SOLUTION: A withstanding voltage performance probe includes: a body 4 of a probe stacking, aligning, and storing a plurality of lead wires 1 each covered with an insulation member; and a lead wire 1 holding mechanism holding the respective lead wires 1 in a prescribed holding region. The body has guide faces 48R, 48S each having a prescribed inclination angle to a lamination direction of the respective lead wires 1 within a range of the holding region, and the withstanding voltage performance probe includes: a linear blade edge 71a parallel to the lamination direction; and a cut mechanism 7 moving the blade edge 71a along the guide faces 48R, 48S such that the blade edge 71a presses and cuts respective side faces of the respective lead wires 1 facing to the blade edge 71a in an inclination direction of the guide faces 48R, 48S to secure electric connection between the blade edge 71a and the respective lead wires 1 while holding the blade edge 71a parallel to the lamination direction.
