Detector device for sewer pipe robot, for detecting hidden structures e.g. cavities in wall of building, has evaluation device designed to evaluate back-reflected electrical signal of antenna regarding to phase and amount
The device (13) has an antenna (14) i.e transmitter antenna, electrically connected with an oscillator for producing an electrical signal. An evaluation device is designed to evaluate the back-reflected electrical signal of the antenna regarding to phase and amount. An oscillator generates a reference signal in frequency range between 2 GHz-3 GHz, or 2.3 GHz-2.5 GHz. The reference signal is compared with the electrical signal. The antenna is examined by a sewer pipe robot (8) and provided with directed radiation characteristic. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a sewer pipe robot (2) a method for detecting a hidden structure in a wall.
