The vehicle wheel has a wheel center or a wheel disk (1) made from metal (1a), a fiber reinforced material (1b), a rim (2) and a tire. The fiber reinforced material and the metal of the wheel center or the wheel disk are inseparably connected to one another such that both the metallic unit of the wheel center or the wheel disk and the other unit of the wheel center or the wheel disk of fiber reinforced material receive and transmit the resulting force during the operation of the wheel. The force units of the operating forces are divided parallel on the units of wheel center or the wheel disk.
