The arrangement has a control circuit that is connected to battery cells (11). A semiconductor switching element (12) and another semiconductor switching element (13) are arranged for controlling charge of the battery cells. The control circuit comprises an input with an input variable. A control loop is arranged between the input and an output with feedback from the output to the input. A function block is provided with a fuzzy logic in the feedback. The functional block is arranged for influencing a switching state of the former switching element or the latter switching element. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a charge state of a battery.
