The method involves providing multiple electronic parts (70, 70a) on one of carriers (68, 74) and applying an adhesive on one of the carriers. A cap (10) and the carriers are placed relative to each other, so that a slider (12) is intended in a slider channel of the cap. The slider is driven relative to the cap outwardly and toward the latter carrier, so that the former carrier rests against the cap. One of the electronic parts of the former carrier is separated as a gripper device arranged in the cap, and the former carrier is conveyed to the cap. An independent claim is also included for a device for transferring an electronic part of one carrier to another carrier.
