The method involves determining value tuples having a momentary traction coefficient (micro) and momentary slippage (lambda) and/or momentary traction coefficient and momentary drift angles. A value of an slope of a origin-line is determined by the coefficient and slippage is determined on the basis the determined value tuple and a zero-point tuple and a certain value of the coefficient is determined and/or on the coefficient is determined based on the condition of the determined value tuple in predetermined regions (5-7) defined by predetermined values of sizes of the determined value tuple.
