The decorative device has a layer construction with a decorative layer (6) visible on a visible side of the decorative device. An electroluminescent foil (2) is arranged on a rear side of the decorative layer. An opaque cover layer (4) is provided between the electroluminescent film and the decorative layer. The cover layer is provided with an opening (9).
