Pedestrian protection impactor for simulation of impact of e.g. body part, of child at motor car for measuring violations caused by impact, has human upper body dummy releasably connected to cylindric specimen over adapter device
The impactor (1) has a human upper body dummy (3) releasably connected to a cylindric specimen (2) over an adapter device, where the specimen is designed as a leg impactor or a thigh/hip impactor. A surface of the impactor is formed with non-reflecting clothing substances. The adapter device is designed as a plug connection (4), a screwing and/or snap connection or a velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener) connection. The clothing substances are formed such that infrared (IR) reflectivity of the impactor in a near IR region amounts to 20-30%.
