The invention relates to a method for reducing by a bubble generated in a sanitary tub and transferred to building space-borne noise. The sanitary tub (1) is equipped with nozzles, flow through the air, water jets or water jets with aeration in a water-filled trough space of sanitary tub, where they produce the hot tub. It is further supported on a base frame (2) having at least four feet (3). According to the invention placed under the feet (3) acoustically effective blocking masses, the rest at discrete points on elastomer bodies (9). The invention is also a sound absorbing element (7) for performing the method described.
