The present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a cold-rolled magnesium alloy plate with improved formability at room temperature and a cold-rolled magnesium alloy plate manufactured by the method. Specifically, the present invention relates to the method for manufacturing a cold-rolled magnesium alloy plate with improved formability, yield strength, and tensile strength and a cold-rolled magnesium alloy plate with improved formability, yield strength, and tensile strength manufactured by the method, the method including the steps of: (a) preparing a composite plate which includes a magnesium alloy plate and a limiting member which is made of steel and suppresses plastic deformation in the transverse direction of the plate when the plate is rolled; (b) cold-rolling the composite plate; and (c) separating a cold-rolled plate made of magnesium alloy from the cold-rolled composite plate obtained from (b). According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing a cold-rolled magnesium alloy plate is able to manufacture a magnesium alloy plate with improved formability at room temperature, and is not associated with problems such as increase in costs due to hot processing or process complications as in a conventional method for manufacturing a magnesium alloy plate because a magnesium alloy plate can be manufactured by cold-rolling.
