The present invention relates to a reductive dechlorination method for chlorinated phenols using a zero-valent metal (ZV) which performs reductive dechlorination on chlorinated phenols by using a bimetal, where iron (Fe) or zinc (Zn) consisting of powders is coated with at least one selected from the group consisting of palladium (Pd), platinum (Pt), nickel (Ni) and copper (Cu). Zinc exhibits reactivity higher than iron, and the reactivity of a bimetal coated with palladium is higher than other catalysts. The present invention can be applied to a permeable reactive barrier (PRB) technique which is attempted in order to restore polluted underground water and soils on the spot.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
