The present invention relates to a filtration exhaust system for a driven reactor building using an external cooling water tank of the reactor building, consisting of: an inlet disposed inside the reactor building to inlet steam-gas mixture in order to solve the complexity of the system due to the installation of a different extra filtration tank and multiple valves in the system; a U-shaped inlet pipe connected to the inlet in order to form a proper head pressure; a cooling water tank connected to the inlet pipe for filtering the steam-gas mixture to the cooling water; and a filtration apparatus disposed on the top of the cooling water tank for filtering radioactive materials which are not filtered by the cooling water, wherein the head pressure is determined by the height of the cooling water filled in the cooling water tank at the lowest point of the U-shaped inlet pipe.
