A method for ecological rehabilitation of soil techogenically contaminated with preferably cadmium, lead, zinc and chromium includes single treatment of soil with iron sulfate. Along with iron sulfate additionally biohumus is introduced as an activator of soil self-purification and soil conditioner of prolonged action at polyelement soil contamination with Cd, Pb, Cr, Zn, according to the level of contamination thereof:At moderate contamination levels single in 5 years:Iron sulfate 300-500 kg/ha,Biohumus 2000 kg/ha;At hazardous contamination levels single in 2-3 years:Iron sulfate 800-1500 kg/ha,Biohumus 4000 kg/ha;At extra-hazardous contamination levels single yearly:Iron sulfate 2500-3000 kg/ha,Biohumus 6000 kg/ha.
