The invention relates to a method for the experimental cultivation ofdinoflagellate to study the impact on them of phenolic compounds, including cultivation on nutrient medium with the addition of mussel hydrolyzate and phenol, and to determine the change level of physiological and biochemical parameters of microalgae, where culture of dinoflagellate microalgae pre-adapted in the darkness to the conditions of heterotrophic nutrition by cultivation in nutrient medium to attainment of an exponential growth phase of cultures, after which aliquots of cultures are being used as inoculum for cultivation on nutrient medium with phenol.
