PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method of measuring the circumference length or its part of an electron rotation part to control the synchrotron radiation pulse time from its changing amount in an synchrotron radiation generating device.;SOLUTION: The device includes an energy recovery type linear accelerator 1 accelerating incident electron beams to rotate it around the electron rotation part with a deflection electromagnet 7, a circumference length correction chicane 10 constituted of a plurality of electromagnets provided on the electron rotation part, and an optical delay mechanism 11 changing the optical path length of synchrotron radiation without changing the optical axis by making the synchrotron radiation generated by the deflection electromagnet 7 obliquely incident upon rotating mirrors set on two slidable stages.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
