PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously suppressing dust generated in a case dealing with a calcium-based powder which elutes a calcium ion when contacting with water, a dust suppressor used in a case performing the method, a calcium-based powder in which a dust suppression treatment is carried out using the dust suppressor, and a method for manufacturing the calcium-based powder.;SOLUTION: The calcium-based powder elutes a calcium ion when contacting with water. The calcium-based powder includes a water retention gel formed by alginic acid from the dust suppressor which elutes the alginic acid when contacting with water and a calcium ion from the calcium-based powder under the presence of a chelate compound which forms a chelate with a hydration retarder and/or a calcium ion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
