PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration method of CAN open network which allows for PDO transmission and reception between slave units while reducing the number of times of frame transfer, and to provide a slave unit using the same, and a PLC control system.SOLUTION: The operation method of a slave unit connected with a CAN open network includes a step for generating a process data object for transmission, a step for specifying the identifier information for the process data object, and a step for transferring the process data object thus generated to a device corresponding to the identifier information thus specified. The identifier information includes a communication object identifier which is used by other slave unit or master unit connected with the CAN open network for receiving the process data object.
