PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system management mode processing time optimization device capable of optimizing a program processing time in a system management mode during OS operation without giving any adverse influence to the OS operation.;SOLUTION: A system management mode processing time optimization device includes: determination means for determining whether or not a processor is in a sleep mode; storage means for storing a program to be executed in a system management mode by the processor; and execution instruction means for repeatedly executing processes of shifting the processor to the system management mode during OS execution by the processor, allowing the processor to execute a part of the program, and then ending the system management mode in one or more cycles until the execution of the program is completed, and for referring to a determination result of the determination means just before the processor is shifted to the system management mode, and for, when it is determined that the processor is in the sleep mode, lengthening an execution time of the program per cycle as compared with the case that the processor is not in the sleep mode, and for allowing the processor to execute the program.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
