PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple buried object discrimination method allowing a worker to easily and certainly discriminate a buried object in an excavation hole while performing road excavation.;SOLUTION: In a road excavation construction, a worker 2 comes into an excavation hole, injects a mixture of water and compressed air with a nozzle 9, makes the mixture hit at a buried object of soil, and removes the sediment near the buried object, thereby discriminating whether the buried object is a target object.
